Based on a previous project of portraits 'defaced - not erased' I started experimenting with AI, which helped me to transform the 'humans' into their ancestors - a look into the past..

Images I wouldn't have been able to take.
It is creating a link between us; the now; and our past to reflect on our origins. A never-ending cycle, a circle.

A circle, acting as a veil to obscure, a veil which needs to be lifted for exploration.
I want the viewer to reflect and see the 'unseen'. The fact that existence is only possible through coexistence and everything is connected,

no matter how you assemble or compose something.

Being critical of AI, if it its used for the wrong reasons, I also see it as an artistic opportunity to use for ones creativity.
